Rangers Skate Past Sabres 3-1
A late goal by Tyler Ennis ensured the Sabres would not be shut out again, however Buffalo fell to the Rangers on Thursday 3-1. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 27 shots in the win for New York.
Rick Nash opened the scoring late in the first period, sweeping down the wing past Tyler Myers. The New York forward cut to the net and stuffed the puck between Ryan Miller's right pad and the post. For Nash, it was his fifth goal of the season and gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead.
New York went up by two with a power play goal in the third. With Cody Hodgson in the box for tripping, Brad Richards snapped a shot over Miller's glove from a bad angle.
