Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, December 17th 2013

Canterbury Woods has received approval to continue with a $1.5 million renovation at its Williamsville campus.  Business First reports plans call for upgrades to the dining facility, as well as a new library, updates to furniture and a computer center.  Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter, with completion in about six months.

Marketing and call center OneTouch Direct LLC will bring a customer service center to Orchard Park.  The move will create 270 jobs.

A new Popeye’s Restaurant opens today in North Buffalo.  The restaurant is at 2160 Elmwood Avenue and it expects to employ 50 people.

Buffalo-based coffee roaster SJ McCullagh Inc. will be investing $300,000 in new equipment and employee training.

Sprint has added 70 U.S. markets to its 4G LTE network.  Included in the latest roll-out were Jamestown, Dunkirk and Fredonia.
