Three manufacturers in Erie and Orleans counties have been approved for low-cost hydropower allocations by the New York Power Authority. Ford Motor Company in Hamburg, Gracious Living USA in Buffalo and Brunner International in Medina are the recipients. This will lead to the creation of 643 new jobs.

 

New York State is providing nearly $4 million in grant funding to law enforcement agencies to combat motor vehicle theft and insurance fraud. In this region, some of that grant money will go to the DA offices of Erie and Niagara Counties, Niagara County Sheriff's Office and the police departments of Buffalo, Cheektowaga and Niagara Falls.


Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls hosts a Beverage Entertainment Job Fair today from 10am to 6pm at the hotel mezzanine near the Seneca Niagara Events Center.
