Buffalo Business Report - Monday, December 23rd 2013



The AAA reports that it costs an average of $3.66 for a gallon of unleaded gas in Buffalo.  That price is up seven cents from the price one month ago.

LA Fitness has finalized its purchase of the assets of all four Buffalo Athletic Club facilities.  The deal also involves both Rochester Athletic Club locations.  All six are co-ed.  The BAC will continue to operate its BAC for Women clubs in the cities, as well as the CrossFit BAC Extreme Training facility on Union Road in Cheektowaga.

Try-It Distributing Company has announced its 43-vehicle delivery fleet will run on compressed natural gas.  Try-It has also installed a CNG filling station at its Lancaster headquarters.  Sonwil Distributors has added four CNG trucks to its fleet.

KB’s Colden Tubing Company has opened on Route 240 in Glenwood.

Also open is Press Raw Food & Juice at 197 Grant Street in Buffalo.  The specialty store caters to customers who prefer raw vegan and healthy food choices.
