Bills Outmuscle Dolphins
Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) While much of Western New York was dealing with the fall out of heavy rain and ice, the Buffalo Bills embraced the foul weather and disposed of the Miami Dolphins 19-0 at Ralph Wilson Stadium Sunday.
The Bills got a solid effort out of veteran running back, Fred Jackson who topped 100 yards on the day and also scored the Bills’ lone touchdown of the game. Fellow running back, C.J. Spiller also chipped in with over 100 combined yards. The balance of the bills scoring came from the leg of Dan Carpenter who hit four field goals.
Quarterback Thad Lewis started in place of E.J. Manuel who was out with a knee injury and kept things conservative for the most part. Lewis finished the day 15 of 25 for 193 yards and an interception.
The Bills close out their 2013 season next Sunday at New England.
