Men Charged with Intercepting NFL GMs Call Reach Agreement
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Two men who recorded a phone conversation between two NFL GMs have reached a pre trial diversion agreement with federal prosecutors.
Federal prosecutors say Joshua Barber and Nicholas Kaiser were charged with intercepting a phone call between former Buffalo Bills General Manger Buddy Nix and Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manger Mark Dominik during which they discussed a number of private matters.
Prosecutors say the defendants also recorded it and sold it for $150.00 to a particular outlet.
The private, recorded conversation was later made public.
Barber and Kaiser must abide by certain terms of that agreement for the next 18 months.
Otherwise, the charges could be re-instated by the Government.
