Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, December 31st 2013

AMS Servicing LLC is attempting to move into a portion of the former Motorola Company plant.  The move to the Jamison Business Park would more than double the current amount of space AMS occupies on Walden Avenue, according to Business First.  If the move is approved, it could lead to 195 new jobs.

Northwest Savings Bank continues to upgrade its automated teller machines.  Enhancements have already been made at 14 ATM's in Western New York.  All of them are expected to be re-done by the end of the first quarter.

Horizon Village has been asked by New York State and Erie County to become the temporary operator of Alcohol and Drug Dependency Services.  ADDS will cease operations at the end of the day today, but Horizon's move would keep operations running for the county's long-time provider of addiction treatment services.  The facility is located at 291 Elm Street in Buffalo.
