Florida State Quarterback Jameis Winston can add another piece of hardware to his already impressive trophy case - a National Championship.
Winston struggled much of the night but was near perfect when the Seminoles (14-0) needed it most, going 6 for 7 for 77 yards with under two minutes left, and the drive was capped off by a 13-yard touchdown reception by Kelvin Benjamin with 13 seconds left to give Florida State a 34-31 victory over Auburn (12-2) in the final BCS National Championship Game.
"It's the best game he's (Winston) ever played," Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher said after the game. "For three quarters he didnt have it, but in the fourth quarter he had it, and that's the mark of a champion."
Florida State now has 3 National Titles, it's their first since 1999.
