Buffalo to host All American Prospects Game

USA Hockey and the Buffalo Sabres announced today that Buffalo will host another All American Prospects Game. The event will take place in September 2014 and 2015.

The game will feature 40 of the top American-born prospects who are eligible for the following year's draft.

"We are honored that USA Hockey has made a 2-year commitment to us," Sabres President Ted Black said.

"This is a part of the world that has a lot of USA Hockey DNA in it," said Dave Ogrean, the executive director of USA Hockey about Western New York.

Buffalo hosted first USA Hockey All-American Prospects game 2 years ago. Last year's game was held at Consol Energy Center.

"We want the path to the NHL to go through Buffalo," Black said.
