M&T Bank plans to close two local branches before the end of April. The location at 4564 Main Street near Harlem will close, with accounts moving to the M&T at 2050 Kensington Avenue. Also, the M&T bank inside the Dunkirk Tops will close, with those accounts transferred to the branch at 1 East Main Street in Fredonia.
The owners of the Tri-Main Center have acquired a neighboring property on Main Street. Tri-Main paid $300,000 for the 87,000 square-foot multi-story series of buildings. According to Business First, the site was formerly known as the Phoenix Frontier complex. It's expected that the new property will be put to commercial use.
Gear Motions Inc. of Syracuse has purchased Niagara Gear Corp. of Buffalo. Terms of that deal were not publicly announced.
Eric Mower + Associates has created a new ad campaign for Maid of the Mist Corp. U.S. landmarks will be decked out in blue ponchos and feature the tagline: America’s Most Monumental Experience since 1846. The Lincoln Memorial statue is in the first ad out now.
