The $172 million HarborCenter located downtown is not yet completed but is already making big news. NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman told the Associated Pressed yesterday that there is a possibility of the NHL Combine being moved from Toronto to Buffalo and the new HarborCenter.
The new facility which will be connect to the Sabres Arena is set to open its doors in October. What the HarborCenter will hold inside are two ice rinks, 11 locker rooms, a high-performance training facility, and multiple classrooms. All keys elements that could be put to good use for the all prospects and member of NHL Orginizations.Along with the top of the line hockey facilities, the HarborCenter will also include a full-service hotel.
The NHL Combine is held in May. The NHL will highly consider the move to the HarborCenter due to facilities and and the on and off the ice evaluations which can all be held under one roof.
