The AAA reports that the local average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas for the area remains at $3.64.

HARBORcenter has unveiled its restaurant concept.  (716) Food and Sport promises to highlight culinary favorites of Western New York and provide more than 40 beer choices; at least half of those on tap.

Three projects expected to bring $12.3 million in new investment and more than 200 jobs to Erie County were approved by the ECIDA yesterday.  The North American Salt Company will bring a bulk salt packaging and distribution facility to Lackawanna.  The other projects are redevelopment of a former downtown vehicle storage facility to a micro-brewery, and an incentive package for AMS Servicing, LLC to create a financial services call center on Jamison Road in Elma.  

UB has received a $5 million gift from the John R. Oishei Foundation to support construction of the new UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
