Buffalo Business Report - Monday, February 3rd 2014

The AAA reports that gas prices continue to hang in locally at an average of $3.64 for a gallon of unleaded.  The national price of $3.28 per gallon remains thirty-six cents lower - generally the gap is closer to twelve cents.

The Town of Niagara's LaSalle Center will be getting a Sam’s Club outlet and the region’s first 5 Below location.  5 Below is a national retailer selling items for $5 or less.  It's the first of several stores anticipated in this area.  According to Business First, other new tenants coming to the LaSalle Center include Petco and Bed Bath & Beyond.

A new satellite office for the Family Justice Center opens today in Williamsville.  The site is in a renovated house next to the North Forest Presbyterian Church.  

Buffalo State celebrates the opening of the new Argo Tea Café in E. H. Butler Library with a tea toasting ceremony tomorrow at 12:15pm.
