Quick Gets Start in Goal For Team USA



USA Men's Hockey Coach Dan Bylsma has announced that Jonathan Quick will start in goal for Team USA in their opener vs. Slovakia on Thursday. Quick a member of the Los Angeles Kings is known to be a an ultra-aggressive goalie who boldly moves out of his net to take on shooters.Quick will look to make adjustments to his style playing on a wider European ice where the shooting angles are different.

"You just feel fortunate for the opportunity and you hope you can make the most of it," Quick told USA Today.

Coach Dan Bylsma chose Jonathan Quick over Sabres goalie Ryan Miller. Miller could start Saturday when the U.S.. takes on Russia.
