Sabre forward Tim Connolly did practice with the team Monday afternoon at the Pepsi Center in Amherst. The forward did say that, due to pain in his hip, he is not ready to play in a game yet. Connolly missed both Sabre victories this weekend. A bone spur and torn labrum in his hip are causing constant pain.
The schedule is favorable for Connolly's condition over the next three games. Buffalo does not play until Wednesday night, at home, against Tampa. The team will host Toronto on Friday but will then have 3 days off before their next game against Ottawa on March 25th.
Adam Mair missed today's practice. Coach Lindy Ruff said it was just to rest his knee.
