Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, February 18th 2014



Centers for Specialty Care Group, based in the Bronx, is interested in acquiring  the Delaware Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 200-bed, privately-owned site on Delaware Avenue.  According to Business First, Centers for Specialty Care entered the Western New York market in 2011 with the acquisition of Waterfront Health Care Center from Kaleida Health.

The McGuire Group is showing interest in home care services.  The company, which runs five senior care facilities in the region, has reached out to Lake Shore Health Care Center about buying its certified home health agency license.  That license covers Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Erie counties.

Buffalo-based technology company Practical Consulting of WNY Inc. has been bought up by I-Evolve Technology Services.  No terms of that deal were publicly announced.
