(WGR 550) -- After having two players in for a free agent visit and scheduling another with a player that signed elsewhere, the Buffalo Bills have finally roped in a linebacker for the 2014 season at least.
The team announced on Wednesday evening that they have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent linebacke Keith Rivers. Tim Graham of The Buffalo News writes that the deal is worth $5 million over two years, and $2.5 million of the contract is guaranteed.
Rivers most recently was employed by the New York Giants, where he started 14 games over the past two seasons. He spent his first three years with the team that drafted him in the first round out of USC, the Cincinnati Bengals. Over the course of five seasons, Rivers has 275 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.
