Sabres on the road, Enroth staying home

Sabres coach Ted Nolan had plenty of injury updates to make before his team set out for Western Canada.  First off, goaltender Jhonas Enroth is not making the trip with the team after being injured against Montreal.  Despite the goalie staying behind, Nolan says, "It looks a little bit better."  Enroth tweeted he'll be out at least a couple of weeks.

Michal Neuvirth is a little banged up but he will make the trip along with Nathan Lieuwen who made his NHL debut against the Canadiens. With that in mind, Matt Hackett made the trip to Calgary and has been called up on an emergency basis.

A couple of skaters will miss the trip, as well.  Zemgus Girgensons is "still quite a ways from getting back" according to Nolan, so the Latvian forward will stay home.  Nolan also says defenseman Tyler Myers will not be on the trip to start, but he could join the team on the road at some point.

The Sabres met at the arena on Monday, but did not skate.

The Sabres are at the Calgary Flames Tuesday at 9.  Pregame on WGR begins at 8.

If report of Toronto bid being maxed out at $1.2 billion is true, what would you think?
Toronto is dead. The Buffalo Bills are here to stay!!!!
I'd still be guarded. What if a bidder comes out of nowhere?
