DeSean Jackson signs with Washington

(WGR 550) -- Despite being in the mix for the services of the best wide receiver to hit the free agent market in 2014, the Buffalo Bills will have to look elsewhere for help at the position. According to multiple reports, DeSean Jackson agreed to terms on a three-year contract with Washington late Tuesday night.

Jackson, 27, is coming off a Pro Bowl season that yielded 82 receptions for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns. The six-year veteran was released by the Philadelphia Eagles for undisclosed reasons, but there were reports of off-the-field concerns.

It all came to it's tipping point the day of his release with an NJ.com report surfacing only hours before, bringing up alleged ties with suspected gang members in Los Angeles. After he was cut by the Eagles, Jackson issued a statement that vehemently denied any and all gang involvement.

The Bills were said to be one of a few teams that were interested in Jackson, but the wideout made his first visit to Washington D.C. and didn't leave until a contract was completed.

Are you planning to see Connor McDavid when he plays at FNC this season?
Absolutely. Its a chance to see a generational player in person
Yes and I'm going to see some games in Erie too
No. The Sabres probably won't get him so I don't need to see him
