First Bills Stadium Group Meeting

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The group charged with coming up with a plan for the Bills' future stadium held its first meeting Tuesday.

The meeting was held behind closed doors and once the meeting ended, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz said, "It was productive and we set the parameters for future work. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members to put in place the tools necessary to keep the Bills in Buffalo and Erie County."

One new member was named before the meeting. Time Warner Cable Executive Gary Ginsburg was named to the panel Monday.

Sunday on Hardline, Poloncarz, part of the committee, says he knows a little bit about the trust handling the team but cannot discuss them because of a confidentiality agreement. As for one possibility, a personal seat license won't work here. "People paying up to $10,000 for the right to buy a seat, but the Bills know that would fail in this market," says Poloncarz. Poloncarz says the goal is to make sure a new owner is comfortable with what the committee has done once the owner takes over.
