Sabres sign defenseman McCabe

The Buffalo Sabres have announced the signing of Jake McCabe (6'1"/210LBS) to a three-year, entry level deal.  McCabe, drafted by the Sabres in the second round of the 2012 draft, just completed his third season at the University of Wisconsin, leading the Badgers in defensive scoring with 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists) in 35 games. Of his eight goals, half came on special teams – three on the power play and one shorthanded.  Tuesday on WGR, Sabres general manager Tim Murray said McCabe would play for the NHL club rather than start off in AHL Rochester.

What do you think about the Bills acquisition of Matt Cassel?
I like it. They can win with Cassel, a strong run game and great defense.
I don't like it. He's done nothing since his big year in 2010.
The Bills should still bring in another QB to compete.
