Beer Buzz In Buffalo

Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, April 1st 2014

A handful of years after closing up shop on Ridge Lea Road in Amherst, Tony Roma’s is coming back on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls.  Business First reports the chain will open next to the Holiday Inn hotel later this year.

With at least 12 breweries and/or brew pubs set to open across the region this year. the Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association has been created.  The association will market various beer-based events, including a 10-day “Buffalo Beer Week” celebration set to begin September 26th.

Lake Shore Behavioral Health and Child & Adolescent Treatment Services have signed a formal affiliation agreement aimed at improving services and making both agencies more efficient.

The New York Power Authority will reopen fishing piers for the season near the Upper Mountain Fire Company at the Lewiston Reservoir and at the Niagara River Intakes.  Both sites are open daily from dawn to dusk and are free to use.
