Report: Could Bills sale be sooner than we thought?

The Buffalo Bills might be making moves faster than we expected. A source telling The Buffalo News that the Bills could have a new owner as early as October.

The Bills will start looking into offers for the team within the upcoming months. Before the sale of the team is final it must be approved by 75 percent of the owners. This vote could take place in early October when all NFL Owners have their annual meeting.

Yesterday the Bills announced the Mary Wilson, the widow of Ralph Wilson, has taken over the title as the Bills principal owner. The NFL bylaws state every team must have a principal owner to establish a front office hierarchy.
