Bills host Ebron, two others on pre-draft visits

(WGR 550) -- One week into April, the Buffalo Bills are officially a third of the way through their pre-draft visits in 2014. On Friday, the Bills played host to North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron, Oregon State defensive end Scott Crichton and LSU running back Jeremy Hill.

The big draw of the group is Ebron, who is a projected top 20 selection in the 2014 NFL Draft. The tight end declared for the draft as a junior, after a 2013 season that saw him catch 62 passes for 973 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Ebron is widely considered to be the top tight end available this year.

Crichton is also an early entrant into the 2014 NFL Draft, declaring after a junior season that yielded 47 tackles, 19 tackles for loss an 7.5 sacks. The defensive end checked in at the NFL Combine at 6-foot-3 and 273-pounds, and is described as a high-motor player. Crichton is projected to be a fringe first-round pick, but more likely will be selected on Day Two.

Hill declared for the draft after his redshirt sophomore season with LSU. He gained 1,401 yards and rushed for 16 touchdowns and also chipped into the passing game with 18 receptions for 181 yards. Hill is one of the the top running backs available but likely won't be selected until the second day of the draft.

The Bills have now used 10 of their allotted 30 pre-draft visits. For a full list of who has visited One Bills Drive to this point, click here.
