Buffalo Business Report - Monday, June 9th 2014

The AAA reports the current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the region is $3.82; down four cents from the cost one month ago.

Blue Bridge Financial, LLC will establish its headquarters in the historic Electric Tower in Buffalo’s central business district.  Blue Bridge Financial keeps 12 jobs in Western New York, with plans to create 71 new jobs over a five year period.

The building that is home to Cole's Restaurant and Saigon Cafe on Elmwood near Forest has been sold for a reported $700,000.  Business First reports Saigon Cafe has already announced it's moving out later this summer.  In its place will be a Louie's Texas Red Hots.

For the second year in a row, Hospice Buffalo, Inc., has achieved  the “Hospice Honors” designation for providing the best patient and caregiver experience.  The prestigious annual review comes from Deyta.  Deyta is a leader of healthcare satisfaction management and clinical quality improvement program services.
