Former Sabre Hasek makes the Hall of Fame



Buffalo, NY (WGR 550)  -- Dominik Hasek won two Hart Trophies as league MVP with the Sabres and now he’s been selected for induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Others in the class of 2014 include, Rob Blake, Peter Forsberg, Mike Modano, Pat Burns and Bill McCreary.
 
Hasek spent nine years with the Sabres. He also won the Vezina Trophy six times and the Jennings twice with Buffalo.
 
Hasek played 491 games in Buffalo posting a 234-170-70 record. His goals against was 2.22 with a .926 save percentage.  
 
Overall Hasek played 735 NHL games going 389-223-95 with a 2.20 goals against and .922 save percentage.  
 
He also played four seasons in Detroit, two in Chicago and one in Ottawa.
