Report: LeBron James will opt out of current deal

ESPN is reporting that LeBron James will opt out of his current contract with the Miami Heat.

James and the Heat went to their fourth straight NBA Finals this season, but lost in five games to the San Antonio Spurs.

The four-time MVP averaged 27.1 points per game for the Heat this season. He was scheduled to make $20 million next season.

Old photo
I think you have an old photo here. The Spurs won this years Championship (the 2013 hat represents old news). However, perhaps James will follow the Spurs lead and take a pay cut to keep the team together. He would still need to learn how to play 'team' ball.
