In the hopes of cashing in on the current climate, the Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency has set an August 1st deadline for residential development proposals centered on a 2.4-acre vacant parcel on Lakefront Boulevard.  That's roughly north of the Admiral’s Walk condo tower.  Business First reports a designated developer is expected to be determined by September 12th.

Tully Rinckey PLLC has moved its Buffalo law office into a newly constructed and substantially larger location at 5488 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville.

The new Save-A-Lot at 4271 Lake Avenue in Blasdell holds its grand opening today.

The Goodwill of WNY Retail Store in the Transit-French plaza is open after remodeling.

On Ransom Road in Clarence, the Brothers of Mercy break ground this afternoon on their new senior independent living community Montabaur Heights.

Picone Construction Corp. has begun work on a capital improvement project for the Yorkshire-Pioneer School District.
