Catholic Health has received state approval for a $5.4 million expansion and renovation project at its Kenmore nursing home on Military Road.  According to Business First, the plan for the 160-bed McAuley Residence calls for renovations to better accommodate short-term residents on the first floor and long-term residents on the second floor.

Workers represented by 1199 Service Employees International Union at nine nursing homes operated by Absolut Care overwhelmingly voted to ratify a new three year contract.

Waterbourne Real Estate Advisors brokered the $1.95 million dollar sale of the Harris Hill Golf Course and Bowmansville Square Office Complex.  The property will be redeveloped for multi-family housing by its new owner.

Lancaster's Ecology and Environment lost $300,000 in its fiscal third quarter.  E&E reported losses of $400,000 for the same period a year ago.
