The U.S. Bankruptcy Court Western District of New York reports bankruptcy filings fell to 399, the lowest June number since at least 2005.  Compared to the same month one year ago, bankruptcy filings dropped 18%.  The number of filings year-to-date has also slipped to a new low, decreasing 14.6% for the first six months of 2014 when compared to 2013.

Knee Deep Holdings LLC, parent of Hamburg-based dental tool maker and distributor A. Titan Co., has bought a new main base of operations.  Knee Deep paid $2.1 million for a site on Centre Drive in Orchard Park that used to be owned by Gaymar Industries.

Consumer Reports has named the Gates Vascular Institute one of the top 15 hospitals in the nation for coronary bypass and aortic valve surgeries.  

Lockport's J. Fitzgerald Group has been selected to provide marketing and advertising services for Niagara Lutheran Health System for its comprehensive service offerings through The GreenFields.
