REPORT: The Pegula's hire a sports broker

Buffalo, NY (WGR 550)  -- Tim Graham is reporting that the Pegula’s have hired a sports broker to handle their interests in the pursuit of the Bills.

Back a few weeks ago when it was reported that the Pegula’s were preparing a bid they actually weren’t. All they were doing at that time was keeping their eyes and ears open before making a decision.

Graham says the broker is Steve Greenberg who has a full resume of experience in sales of professional teams. The list includes the Braves, Reds, Astros, Brewers, Mets, Padres, Cavaliers, Wizards and Bucks.

I caution to be careful that just because Greenberg has been hired doesn’t mean the Pegula’s have decided to bid on the team. There’s still much more preparation that needs to go on before a decision to bid is made, but the thing to take out of this is that there’s definitely interest to look at it.
