The Amherst IDA and Empire State Development Corp. are preparing an offer to Columbus McKinnon within the next few weeks.  The company is mulling options in the area and other states for its new headquarters.  Business First reports a vacant parcel in Uniland Development Co.’s CrossPoint Business Park is one of its preferred sites.  Columbus McKinnon could also opt to stay in its current leased offices on John James Audubon Parkway in Amherst.

Empire Genomics is getting a boost in the form of a $1 million investment from Rand Capital Corp. and Z80 Labs Inc.  Empire Genomics, headquartered on Michigan Avenue in downtown Buffalo, offers product testing and services for cancer disease management.

Moog Inc. and Scoot Pte Ltd., a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, signed a 12 year exclusive contract for comprehensive support of the Moog Flight Control Systems on Scoot's fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft.

This month, Joe Basil Chevrolet received the prestigious General Motors Dealer of the Year Award.  It's the 6th time Basil Chevrolet has been so honored.
