A big change at the top of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency.  Buffalo Urban League President and CEO Brenda McDuffie has unanimously been named the board's first female chairperson.  McDuffie
replaces former Rep. John LaFalce, who resigned as ECIDA chairman in May 2013.

In a sponsorship deal, Yancey’s Fancy is the Official Cheese of the Buffalo Bills.  In addition, Yancey’s Fancy will become an official sponsor of Bills Training Camp held at St. John Fisher College.

Second-quarter net income at Bank of America was off 43% due mainly to on-going elevated legal expenses.  Net income came in at nineteen cents per share, compared to thirty-two cents per share for the same period in 2013.

Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown now has a semi-automated external defibrillator on site, thanks to an underwriting grant from Univera Healthcare.

Try-Lock Roofing Co. has received the Prestigious GAF Master Elite Consumer Protection Excellence Award for the 2nd year in a row.
