Buffalo Business Report - Friday, August 1st 2014

Low-cost hydropower has been granted to five area projects.  They are: Royal Plastix USA of Buffalo; Innomotive Solutions Group in Lancaster;
The 3M Co. and Praxair of Tonawanda and the NFIA Stakeholders Group.  The latter is a non-profit consisting of area government entities and businesses interested in expanding air services in Niagara Falls.   In exchange, the companies will create at least 80 new jobs.

Business First reports New Era Cap Co. has reached an agreement with the U.S. Ryder Cup team.  The deal runs through 2016, but no other terms were made public.

The Reena Group of Cos., based in Scarborough, Ontario, will return to Western New York.  Reena has purchased two warehouse/distribution centers on Empire Drive in West Seneca.

Depew’s Northeast Mechanical Inc. has received GoldStar Contractor accreditation from the Building Performance Institute.
