Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, August 5th 2014

Business First reports July was a busy month for real estate deals in Erie County.  Out of 1,981 total transactions, 337 were for $200,000 or more.  Amherst had the largest number of high-end deals with 85.  There were 48 in Buffalo, 39 in Clarence, Lancaster had 31 and Hamburg 25.

A pair of firsts happening in the area Thursday.  At 11am, the first New York Cabella's opens at 2003 Walden Ave, across from the Galleria.  Thursday also marks the debut of Erbert and Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop at 484 Elmwood Avenue.

Superior Sights and Sounds Inc. has moved from its retail location on Seneca Street in West Seneca to a new corporate office location on Abbott Road in Buffalo.

Rehwaldt Builders has openings at its newest venture, Deer View Green Homes in Akron.
