Report: Bon Jovi's Re-Bid Accepted
Toronto, ON (WBEN) Jon Bon Jovi's second chance has paid off. A report says Bon Jovi and his Toronto-based group will meet with the Bills' trust Tuesday in New York.
The Toronto Sun's John Kryk reports the group was informed its bid accepted over the weekend. Last week, Kryk reported the Bon Jovi bid was denied because the price was too low and not enough belief within the trust the group, which includes Larry Tanenbaum of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and the Rogers family, would actually keep the team in Buffalo.
Last week, Donald Trump had a meeting in Detroit. Sabres owner Terry Pegula is slated to have a meeting this week in New York. Former Sabres owner Tom Golisano has also made his bid.
