UB Football Holds Media Day

UB Head Football Coach Jeff Quinn spoke to the media today and discussed the upcoming Bulls season. Quinn talked about numerous topics, including his expectations, schedule and roster for the 2014 season. The Bulls also unveiled a new all black helmet and jersey combo.

UB had one of the most succesful seasons in school history last year, going 8-5 overall and 6-2 in MAC conference play. In additition to a trip to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the team also yielded the number 5 overall pick in the NFL draft, LB Khalil Mack.

UB opens up the season at home on August 30th, against Duquesne, and begin conference play on Saturday, September 27th against Miami (OH). The schedule highlight of the year comes on Friday, September 12th, as the Bulls play last years Big XII champs Baylor, in a nationally televised game at UB stadium.

What do you think about the Bills acquisition of Matt Cassel?
  I like it. They can win with Cassel, a strong run game and great defense.
  I don't like it. He's done nothing since his big year in 2010.
  The Bills should still bring in another QB to compete.
