Buffalo's 5-1 win over Montreal Wednesday broke a three game losing streak. The slide has put the Sabres out of a playoff spot in 9th, tied with Carolina. Buffalo trails Pittsburgh, the Rangers and Florida by three and the Canadiens by four so losing really isn't an option tonight.
