(WGR 550) -- The United States took two steps up in the newest FIFA World Ranking, settling in at No. 12 for July, while Brazil unseats Spain as the world's No. 1.
The Spanish side dropped to No. 2, while the Netherlands drop to No. 3. Greece, Serbia and Denmark climbed into the Top 15, while several sides made dramatic climbs. Costa Rica's win over the United States helped propel them 11 spots into the 30th spot, while the Ivory Coast was the biggest winner, moving from 38 to 18.

I don't know why people have to bash soccer. I went to a game in France this year (Marseille vs. Toulous) and it was hands down the absolute best regular season sporting event I will ever go to. Keep up the good work Nick
