WATKINS GLEN, NY (WGR 550) -- Justin Wilson held off Ryan Briscoe on Sunday to win the Camping World Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International and give owner Dale Coyne his first IndyCar victory.
Wilson started off in the front row along side pole-sitter Ryan Briscoe of team Penske, beating him by nearly five seconds.
Ganassi’s Scott Dixon was third, followed by Penske’s Helio Castroneves and Marco Andretti. The third-place finish designates Scott Dixon as the points leader, surpassing Dario Franchitti.
