(WGR 550) -- How much money does a 24-year old 17-goal scorer deserve? Clarke MacArthur is about to find out.
The winger, who has played in parts of three seasons with the Sabres, is coming off his longest campaign yet, and has elected to file for arbitration rather than accept Buffalo's qualifying offer. The restricted free agent joins a list that includes 17 others league-wide, including Colby Armstrong, Travis Zajac and Tom Plekanec.
Arbitration hearings will run from July 20 to Aug. 4, and the deadline to file is 5 p.m. Monday.
