Not Even the Good Guys Can Be Trusted
The death of Steve McNair is nothing short but mind blowing. However, what is being reported by the Tennessean leads me to believe that not even the seemingly “Good Guy” in the National Football League can be trusted.
McNair and Sahel Kazemi were found dead on July 4th in the condo that McNair was renting in a apparent murder suicide with Kazemi being the McNair’s killer.
So, what would lead her to kill?
The Tennessean interviewed Keith Northfleet who dated Kazemi for four years until they broke up five months ago.
The two did stay in touch and revealed that McNair was cheating on his wife with Kazemi, but was not specific on how long they been together.
“He was making her believe they were going to be together and everything would be perfect,” NorthFleet said.
It is obvious that Kazemi realized that McNair was lying and snapped over this.
The problem here is that McNair was arrogant enough to go out and think he could get away with cheating.
The fact of the matter is that the NFL has so much money and power that even good people like McNair get engulfed in it.
In the end tragic incidents like this will keep on happening until the owners realize that they must take a hard line.
That being when some gets arrested they get arrested once they are suspended for a year and then the next arrest gets you banned for life, because after all there will not be one person that will have learned from this.
You have to look no further than the death of Denver Bronocos cornerback Darrent Williams as teammates like Brandon Marshall still get in trouble.
