Howard Simon graduated from Buffalo State in 1984 and has been covering the Buffalo sports scene since 1989, working at WJJL, WBEN and the Empire Sports Network before joining WGR in 2004. Howard's also a huge fan of the New York Mets and for some reason, refuses to give up his team.
Jeremy White graduated from Syracuse University in 2001 and worked during every possible time period on WGR before joining the Howard Simon Show in November of 2004. Shockingly, Jeremy likes to squeeze in talk about his Orange whenever possible during Bills' and Sabres' conversations.

Doug Marrone wants to have a competition for the job of starting quarterback. I completely understand that but I totally disagree with it. It should be EJ Manuel's job to lose.

Clearly one of Ron Rolston’s jobs is to win hockey games. However, with the Sabres talking more about the long term, and a team that can make multiple runs in the playoffs, WGR's Jeremy White says the list of goals should start and stop with a select group of players.
After deciding against changing the General Manager, the Buffalo Sabres have also decided to stay the course behind the bench. Ron Rolston will be announced as the 16th Head Coach in Sabres history.
