When it comes to sports talk in the morning, there is only once source in Buffalo...The Howard Simon Show!

Howard Simon graduated from Buffalo State in 1984 and has been covering the Buffalo sports scene since 1989, working at WJJL, WBEN and the Empire Sports Network before joining WGR in 2004. Howard's also a huge fan of the New York Mets and for some reason, refuses to give up his team.

Jeremy White graduated from Syracuse University in 2001 and worked during every possible time period on WGR before joining the Howard Simon Show in November of 2004. Shockingly, Jeremy likes to squeeze in talk about his Orange whenever possible during Bills' and Sabres' conversations.

There is no other radio station in Western New York that offers you the chance to sound off on your team and connect with the following guests:

Weekly Guest Schedule:
Tuesday 8:00 Sabres Head Coach Dan Bylsma
Wednesday 8:30  Mike Robitaille
Thursday 7:30  Martin Biron
Thursday 9:00  Lance Leipold

Plus, Mike Robitaille will give his take on Buffalo Sabres' games at 8:30 (if they played the night before) and WGR reporter Paul Hamilton will give his take on the Buffalo sports scene every weekday as well.

JW: Half of a Sabres decade in the rearview

Hockey is back.  But this time, like, really.

The last five years of watching the Buffalo Sabres have been unlike any others in my sports life.  Before we all embark on the 2016-17 let’s take a moment to note just how different this season is, in its normalcy.

Hockey is back.  But this time, like, really.

The last five years of watching the Buffalo Sabres have been unlike any others in my sports life.  Before we all embark on the 2016-17 let’s take a moment to note just how different this season is, in its normalcy.

Bills defense comes up big

Bills fans desperately needed a fun game day and they certainly got one.

JW: The Gauge Game

In fourteen games last year, Tyrod Taylor set his bar.  Fourteen games remain this year and should have to go above and beyond that bar to get a third season.

Bills make predictable move

For those of you who think coaches can become predictable, so can organizations.

Bills go right to life sucking mode in 1st game

So much for all of those good feelings I had about the offense.

Bills GM says Gilmore is a core player

How important is Stephon Gilmore to the Bills? Why did the Bills feel it was the right time to give Tyrod Taylor an extension?  Click here to find out the answers from general manager Doug Whaley.

Cardale Jones is busy learning the Bills offense

For Cardale Jones, his first season in the NFL is supposed to be like his first season at Ohio State, a redshirt year.

Bills' Striker carries a big chip on his shoulder

Eric Striker’s 2016 NFL draft experience wasn’t fun.  But Striker is feeding off the negative of not hearing his name called as he attempts to make the Bills roster.

A weekend filled with Bills news and a game

A contract extension for Tyrod Taylor, a new name for Ralph Wilson Stadium and the first football “game” of the season.  Click here for my thoughts.
With no Tom Brady, how do you feel about the Bills chances of winning at New England?
Without Brady, I expect the Bills to win
Pats are 3-0 so I'm hoping for a win, not expecting
Its still Belichick and the Pats so I'm expecting a loss
